The track, entitled ‘Most Kingz’, is included on a new ‘Invasion Radio 2k10′ mixtape by Green Lantern.

The DJ told blog 2dopeboyz that she track was a by-product of recording sessions Jay-Z and Martin had for the rapper’s 2006 album ‘Kingdom Come’.

He said Jay-Z, who is close friends with Martin, failed “to find a beat” for the track.The Coldplay star eventually appeared album track ‘Beach Chair’.

‘Invasion Radio 2k10′ also includes songs by Rick Ross, Kid Cudi, Nas and The Dream.

But on Wednesday in San Francisco, Jobs brought along some actual star firepower in the form of Coldplay singer Chris Martin and Lady Gaga to announce the new line of iPods and a musical social networking site called Ping.

Jobs rolled out the iPods first, showing off the revamped iPod Shuffle, which brings back finger controls, and the tiny Nano, which ditches buttons for a touch screen. Coldplay star Chris Martin is sporting a cast on his foot after reportedly injuring himself in a surfing accident.

The singer has been spending time in the Hamptons area of New York, hitting the waves in between recording sessions for the band’s upcoming album.

But his board time is said to have been hampered after he hurt his right ankle last week and he has been photographed wearing a cast while he recovers from the injury, according to Britain’s The Sun. [Source]

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have been caught on camera together. The pair was snapped hanging out on a beach with friends in the Hamptons.

The publicity-shy duo makes a point of not being photographed together and rarely steps out in public side-by-side.

The actress and Coldplay front man, who married in 2003, own a luxury $5.4 million holiday home in the exclusive seaside area. They have been enjoying a summer break at the beach with their young children Apple, 6, and Moses, 4, according to the Daily Mail.

Coldplay has extended its publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group to cover future song writing.

Financial terms or the length of the contract was not revealed. Universal has been the band’s publisher since 2007 when the music major acquired BMG Music Publishing, the group’s original publisher.

Caroline Elleray, current head of A&R, Universal Music Publishing U.K., had originally signed the multiple Grammy-winning four-piece to BMG Music Publishing in 1999.

In a statement, Paul Connolly, president of Europe and U.K., Universal Music Publishing, hailed the band as “all that’s great about music today.”

“They’ve sold over 50 million albums worldwide and their huge success is entirely deserved. We’re obviously very proud to be Coldplay’s publisher so it’s great that we’ve been able to extend our relationship with them in this way,” Connolly went on to say.

Dave Holmes of 3D Management, the band’s manager added: “Coldplay and myself are pleased to continue our relationship with Universal Music Publishing.

“Paul and Caroline are the best in the business and we are happy to be a part of their ever growing family,” Holmes continued.
